CBS Evening News created a story for “The Uplift” using Cat’s videography, interviews and still photography. Cat spent several months filming Lou Pioli in Vermont as the 99-year-old veteran recounted his life stories on video noting that his one regret was not finishing his college degree due to his service in WWII. Incredibly, the story commenced with Lou being presented with a college degree.
